Jesus was telling his disciples that he is going away to prepare a place for them. Thomas asked Jesus how can he know the way if he does not know where Jesus is going. John 14 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  -kjv 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
