Jesus wept

John 11:35 Jesus wept. -kjv Lazarus was dead and Jesus wept. My reaction was: if Lazarus was born again, shouldn't Jesus rejoice because Lazarus will be in heaven and will be with him in spirit. Another scripture: Romans 12:15 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. -kjv This verse reminds me that we ought to put our feet in the shoes of those who suffered the death of their close ones. My reaction was self righteous. Jesus did the right thing. After all, we humans are still living on this earth. I guess if we are not close to the family of the one who passed away, at best we should remain silent.
